The saying “That’s why you play the game” suggests that you need to have a contest to determine who’s really the best, but you could have seen the result of last Wednesday’s 2011 Stanley Cup Finals Game 7 coming from a mile away. Or Nike Free Run 3.0 V2 from seventeen years away (in which case, you’d cover about one foot per day to complete the trek), which was the last time Vancouver was engulfed in rioting following a Game 7 loss. And with the Cup being captured by yet another team wearing black and yellow this year, it’s yet more of Nike Free Run 5.0 V4 the same thing, but with a twist. Kinda like the Supra Bandits and Stacks done in the Boston Bruins high-contrast colorway to form the ‘Black & Yellow’ Pack. Click through for a closer look at these suede and leather special edition skate sneakers and look for them at your local Supra dealer soon.
Over a year later the Nike x Kanye West Air Yeezy’s are still one of the most desired sneakers that Nike has put ever out and G.O.O.D. Music’s Common brought his pair out of his sneaker closet this past weekend when he rocked the “Only the Brave Block Party 2″ in Paris, France. The rapper/actor seems to be a big fan of this Zen Grey colorway as he was seen rocking them last year during the 2009 NBA Finals in Los Angeles. Take a look at more pictures from the Only the Brave Block Party 2 after the jump…
Major changes are in plans for Nike Skateboarding’s pro-model product lines, but already making that transition is the P-Rod, which already shed the ‘SB’ tag some time ago. Moving on from ‘Skate’ to the ‘Overall Comfort’ sector is the Nike Lunar Rod, currently slated for a Holiday 2012 release at wider chain retailers. It features a P-Rod 6 upper with a re-designed outsole that combines the LunarLon from the P-Rod 6 skate shoe with the boots ole of the Nike snowboarding boots. These will definitely be a comfortable casual shoe at the very least, but how will it far on the skate-deck? And whatever happened to the SB P-Rod V Lunar? Check out the extra angles below and stick with Sneaker News for more updates. via n-sb
The Zoom Kobe V2 floodgates have opened throughout the inteet, but if you want a full detailed preview of multiple angles, Sneaker News is the place to be. The ‘Shark’ and ‘Wolf’ set the tone just right with a new predator-themed editions, but here we have a look at a Black/Grey/Volt that doesn’t feature any animal logo on the heel, but owns quite the venomous demeanor. The Zoom Kobe designers continue Nike Free Run 3.0 V4 to get creat5e with the materials with the ‘scaly’ upper shell, and like the ‘Shark’ colorway, the Black/Volt/Grey colorway shows us how versatile it can be by using a two-toned upper for a stealthy yet eye-catching color-blocking. The outriggers also feature two tones of grey, and the laces are dotted with reflect5e weave. We’ve got another detailed preview for you below, so look no further than Sneaker News for your Kobe V2 updates, and stay tuned for more Kobe V2 updates.
