Despite the wide variety of colorways released and available for customization on NIKEiD, Kobe Bryant’s latest signature sneaker can’t compete version-for-version with LeBron James’ current line.  But on the other hand, Bryant has it over James hands-down in terms of lifestyle-oriented designs, where the Nike Zoom KB 24 stands alone.  A street savvy take on the Zoom Kobe VI, this lowtop is something like Nike Free Run 3.0 V2 the ZK6 with an almost Nike LunarEclipse Air Force 25-style sole, the above pictured black, purple and green colorway offering an iridescent look that might be the most reptilian of all of this year’s Kobe Bryant Nikes.  Click through to get a better look, let us know what you think and stick with Sneaker News for updates on the US release.  via in52

Recently Sneaker News showed you three upcoming colorways of the Free Run CMFT Viz Air 13. Here’s a look at two more concepts that should come into development in the coming months. Last time, we showed you a white/red/black colorway with elephant print on the upper. You can also expect a ‘reverse’ version of that, featuring Nike Free Run 5.0 V2 black, red, and stealth grey with elephant print on the upper as well. The varsity red/black colorway looks to be on the way as well, with a glossy metallic finish on the upper, possibly similar to the recent Free Run S6.0 Rings releases in February and March. With fall right around the coer, Nike Sportswear has you prepared for the inevitable decline in weather.  The Nike Air Magma ACG is back in two new colorways that are both suitable for All Conditions and wardrobe-friendly.  The Magma was practically built for contemporary fashion trends, with its heavy duty suede upper offering only the simplest of colorblocking possibilities.  This season’s releases include one in grey with blue laces and another pair in black with yellow laces, both of which share white/black mid/outsoles.  Check out more shots after the jump and look for these at NSW retailers soon; atmos Tokyo just got theirs.

Sneaker-shaped birthday cakes have become increasingly common, but here are a few new delicacies that rank among the very best.  Both were baked in honor of Carmelo Anthony’s 26th birthday, and while they both feature Melo’s Free Run Brand logo, they were quite different.  That’s cos one cake was pretty much all logo, or at least stood as the support for a huge sculpted Melo insignia, whereas the others were a series of Air Free Run Future Sole Melo M6s, with two large ones for dad and two smaller ones for son Kiyan, from whom the shoe cakes were apparently a gift.  The young Anthony did his thing on this one, and you can see shots of all the goodness after the jump.
