The Google+ Homecoming Tour is a four-city exhibition tour led by NBA stars LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Carmelo Anthony, and Chris Paul. These could quite possibly have been the original ‘French Blue’ version, but in light of Michael’s retirement from the Wizards by the end of the ’02-’03 season, a true Wizards colorway would’ve been a clear anachromism. What resulted was the French Blue/Varsity Red colorway, which featured a white heel-tab, definit5e red accents on the outsole (particularly the visible carbon fiber plate on the outsole), and the silver ‘Jumpman’ at the midfoot.
