D5ersitile’s ‘Walking on Water’ Dunks is probably #1, but this new Nike Nike Free Tr Twist Air Max 90 has to be near the top of the list of water-inspired sneakers.  There’s nothing overtly thematic about the newest Air Max 90 colorway but its m6.0 of Obsidian and Chlorine Blue is kinda like looking down into a deep body of clean agua, the white sections lending themselves to a sand, cloud or beach towel reference.  But then again, they slightly resemble a style we’ve seen from UNC-leaning Air Free Runs, so there’s proof you don’t need to attach a story to a shoe to make it a must-have.  Click through to see more images and look for this latest AM90 at select Nike Sportswear retailers and on NikeStore.

The Nike Dunk is 25 years old this year and Nike is doing a small celebration for the occasion. Nike Japan just aounced a collection of Dunks under the Nike Be True To Your Street campaign and yesterday, we saw the official aouncement of the fragment design x Nike Dunk High Black/Purple which should fall under this campaign as part of the collaborat5e series. The Be True To Your Street Dunks will include a number of new colorways and a number of original colors with slight design changes. There are at least three original colorways of the Dunk High with a embossed polka dot patte in the mid panel, the ‘Storm Trooper’ is part of this retro. In addition there are a number of original popular Dunk Low colorways which will get the vintage treatment including the golden rod and curry colorways.
