The most recent release from Nike Sportswear’s ‘XXX Pearl’ capsule celebrating the Air Max 85′s 30th a5ersary released a couple weeks back when the Air Maxed-out camo edition dropped in limited quantities. That pair utilized VacTech construction for a sleek upper that gained depth from its molded appearance, but what if you could do that same kind of visual trickery on an even smoother design? That’s the idea with this s6.0th Pearl Collection drop, a Nike Air Max 85 Low built with the aid of high-frequency welding technology whose tonal grey digital camouflage takes on a different patte so Nike Free Trainer 3.0 as to facilitate something approximating an urban ‘concrete jungle’. G5en how hot grey/white sneakers have been of late, this is likely to be a monster hit when it arr5es at select retailers this summer; are these the best Pearl Air Max 85s yet? Let us know on the other side after you check out a bunch of additional images, and be sure to check back with Sneaker News Nike Free Run 3.0 V4 for the US release date.
The most recent Nike Air Classic BW we showed you here on Sneaker News was an intriguing departure Nike Free Run 3 from the model’s characteristic colorways, a tonal mahogany m6.0 of leather and suede whose white accents and gum sole made for one of the most interesting Big Windows in years. Here’s another new pair that also uses a tonal suede and leather combo, but a different distribution along with microperfs on the leather and a lack of any bright accents leaves these feeling entirely different. What the black, white and Pure Platinum trio lacks for a warm, fireside appeal it makes up with the kind of versatility that puts these on your feet every day of the week. Click through to see more angles and look for your pair at a Nike Sportwear stockist like Titolo.
Later this month, Sole Collector will host a special Air Pey-themed event in Las Vegas, where several new Nike Air Pey models will be showcased. One of the much-anticipated sneaker models is the Nike Zoom Rookie LWP the Air Pey hybrid shoe combining the Nike Free Run One details with the Air Flight One and Air Go LWP as well as this new Nike Air Pey 2 Sole Collector edition; it’s similar to the OG colorway of the Air Pey 2, but with a translucent outsole, a royal blue mudguard and ier lining, and a special Sole Collector label on the right heel. Steve Mulholland of Sole Collector was also spotting these during the Nike Mag 2011 Unveiling at the Montalban in Los Angeles. Check out the extra shots of the kicks below and let us know what you think. via SC/NDP.
Mike Bibby’s been the ultimate utility-man for Free Run Brand this season, wearing classic Air Free Run Retros, newly released and upcoming Team Free Runs, and most recently the Air Free Run CP3.3. Bibby wore two colorways in of Chris Paul’s signature shoe one in black/red and another in a vibrant all-red upper and CP3 himself decided to show off his own pair of Bibby’s pair. Or is it? Chris Paul showed us via his twitter an Air Free Run CP3.3 in white, red, and gold (similar colors seen on his All-Star Game pair) but Mike Bibby’s been sporting a colorway without any gold accents, making it quite clear that the two are indeed different. Need to compare? Check out what Bibby wore after the jump and let us know which NBA point guard has the better colorway.
