The design team at Nike has been coming with some great summer shoes in the form of the Jack Purcell

Though it’d be a wild inaccuracy to call them the ‘American BAPE’, Gourmet is indeed similar to Nigo’s groundbreaking Japanese streetwear conce in that they’ve both taken some heat over the years for the extent to which their designs are original.  And yet, both brands soldier on with great success while waiting for you to recognize the beat of their rapid-sampling drumkit.  Coming up for the fall/winter 2012 season, we see models like the Gourmet Quadici take on the camouflage look that’s served BAPE so well over the years, but even if the wildly invent5e Dignan (pictured above) has a similar concealment patte doesn’t mean there’s anything else in the industry quite like it as of this writing.  Add in the new Gaetano trail boot and you’ve got a well-rounded preview with more pairs to follow as we approach the second half drop, so click through to see them all and stick Nike Free Run 3 with Nike Free Run 3.0 V4 Sneaker News for  updates.  via EUkicks
 

Earlier today Sneaker News provided you with a look at two upcoming Air Free Run V Retro releases for the Fall 2011 season. Here’s another look at the White/Midnight Navy-Varsity Red colorway, currently scheduled for a July 2011 release. It features a pristine white patent leather upper with an Olympic-inspired combination of Midnight Navy on the midsole and Varsity Red on the sharks teeth detail, speckled with white. The translucent outsole is paire with a white outsole at the toe and midfoot as well. Midnight Navy is used on the ier lining with red on the ier face of the tongue, with a red Jumpman stitched on the heel and navy/red ’23′ stitched on side. The design team at Nike has been coming with some great summer shoes in the form of the Jack Purcell LLT Ox lately. The Jack Purcell’s are an ancient model, but have remained relevant through their long history thanks to Nike’s approach in keeping them contemporary. This pair continues in the tradition of minimal lowtops that pack a punch, with the purple stitching against the black suede on the upper g5ing these all the pop they need. A fresh white midsole completes these Jack Purcells, with the signature “smile” found on the toebox as always. The realm of the Nike Air Force 1 as of late has been characterized by graphical treatments, both through the custom creations we’ve seen as well as the in-house heat from Beaverton. Opting for a more straightforward approach is this Nike Air Force 1 Mid which has a distinct Valentines Day Nike Free Run 4.0 V2 flavor to it. The strapped up look is getting increasingly uncommon so it’s always a treat when a mid pops up, and this one is accented nicely via the tumbled treatment towards the front, one of the more subtle upgrades available in the AF1 repertoire.
