Staten Island wondertwins Dee & Ricky are known for their whimsical approach to fashion, so when the duo teamed up with Pony to release a couple of Slam Dunk collaborations, it wasn’t a huge shock that they offered the kind of high-contrast design that’s typically reserved for the bravest young fashionistos.  A similar kind of patchwork appeal is in play with these new Dee & Ricky x Pony collabos, including two that look like they were cobbled together from spare parts from earlier releases.  The rest are equally eye-catching, though arguably with more traditional colorblocking (including a couple white/black classics), and you can see the whole set of upcoming drops in images after the jump.  via SDG

February is Black History Month, and once again, Nike will be commemorating the occasion with a special pack featuring their three premier signature basketball models. The Nike LeBron 9, Zoom Kobe V2 and Zoom KD 5 will all be getting the BHM 2012 treatment, with this year’s motif as a Black/White/Red look with a little Midnight Fog Air Max 2014 Mens Shoes thrown in for good measure. Free Run Brand teased its biggest release for next spring with a mysterious shot of the Air Free Run 2013, but that tiny glimpse suggests quite a bit about what to expect from next year’s flagship.  Over in the Nike Basketball camp, the Zoom Kobe 7 has been a hit since the ‘Grinch’ made Christmas 2011 the NBA’s most successful yet, so we also have a frame into which the new Nike Zoom Kobe V2 Point 5 can fit neatly.  This apparent ZK7 takedown doesn’t seem Air Max 97 Men Shoes to use any Flywire or offer the kind of graphic capabilities as its TPU-uppered big brother, but the impact of this now familiar silhouette in a more traditional build is just as striking and a further testament to the depth of Eric Avar’s ‘systemic’ approach.
