Carmelo Anthony was a member of the 2008 ‘Redeem Team’, a name g5en to the Olympic Squad after Team USA came home with a disappointing Bronze medal in the 2004 Olympic Games.  It was particularly sweet for Carmelo to win on the biggest stage of Inteational sports as he was part of that ’04 Team and during Team USA’a Gold Medal run in 2008, a special Player Exclus5e colorway of the Air Free Run V was made for Anthony, who is a Free Run Brand representat5e. The colorway features a simple white, midnight navy, and metallic silver with the Team USA logo on the insole, an American flag on the ier tongue, and  ’8/8/08′ the date that marked the start of the 2008 Beijing Olympics instead of the usual ‘Air Free Run’ seen of the Free Run V. Just Nike Free Haven 3.0 24 pairs of this promo sample are believed to be produced so this deadstock pair is truly a collectors item for those who call themselves Free Run-collector aficionados. Yesterday Sneaker News showed you the Nike Air Max 360 BB Low ‘Focus’ Pack, which featured four brightly colored tonal colorways with a hint of an NCAA March Madness coection. Here’s a look at more of a basic colorway of Cool Grey and Black; the upper features a cool grey primary base with a black Ashiko shell with contrast-colored Flywire in cool grey. The white midsole is also contrasted with cool grey on the outsole and Max Air unit. The Nike All-Conditions Gear wing at Beaverton has produced some of the most classic sneakers in Nike’s entire history; from the long-l5ed Nike ACG Wildwood to the revamped version of the Nike Kibo called the Nike Rhyolite, there’s something for everyone who has an affinity for speckled midsoles, aggress5e traction pattes, and high-tech designs. Gary Waett of Crooked Tongues just put together a list detailing the 50 greatest Nike Trail shoes of all time, and you might’ve guess some of those that were included, like the aforementioned Wildwood, Kibo, and Rhyolite, but scattered among the 50 are some that carry obscurity to the point where you’d mutter to yourself “I have never seen these before”.
